TinyMCE Image Embed email does not show image Solved

Hi, I purchased and installed this add on but when I receive an email, the images do not show up. I tested in Gmail and Outlook. It looks like you are embedding the image using Data URI which most clients don't seem to support. Is there a way to get this to work?

Hello,
Yes, filtering feature in some e-mail clients will block Data URI encoded content.
Unfortunately there is no way to avoid this behavior, this is security policy of these clients.
So I can only recommend you to use embedding images only for content targeted to web site pages.
Maybe TinyMCE Quick/Easy Image Upload could help you?

Ok thanks for the response. You should probably state on the product page that it won't work on most email clients as it is pretty deceiving the way it is currently being sold.
I was able to make it work by extracting the image data.
